Visualizing data

I saw this piece on flowingdata.com about how one set of data can be visualized in different ways. The author gave some criticisms of some of the charts, but also offered tips on how best to visualize a set of data. This article was really interesting to me because of the vast variety in how people chose to represent their data – but also because it showed how art and design interact with other areas of study.
