I was doing some research for a psychology class and started questioning the intersection between biology and art. I came across and exhibit called Bodies Revealed that showcases real human bodies to teach people about anatomy and to explore the beautiful machines that our bodies are. My favorite image from the exhibit was this one, which shows all the veins and arteries in a person’s hand. It is very visually appealing to me and it almost seems like it belongs in an art museum rather than in a biological exhibit.
