The National Art Center of Tokyo commissioned French artist Emmanuelle Moreaux, who is Tokyo-based, to transform their Special Exhibition Gallery room. Moreaux decided to use the space to create a vibrantly-colored numbers wonderland. The “Forest of Numbers” contains 100 colors and symbolizes the next 10 years. Over 60,000 figures (numbers 0-9) were used to create this 3-D representation.
