Mardi Gras

I don’t think I have ever seen as many beads as I saw this weekend in New Orleans. Every shape, size, and color imaginable was represented in at least one bead necklace, and they were around people’s necks, hands, legs, as well as hung from balconies, trees, chairs and lamp posts. This tree was especially appealing to me, as it almost looks like it could be in a museum.
