Kubo

During winter break, I saw an exhibit for the stop-motion animation studio Laika. They displayed a collection of the real pieces they used for movies like Kubo and the Two Strings, and it made me truly appreciate the immense amount of work that goes into stop-motion animation. The boat shown was breathtakingly beautiful, especially because it was completely hand made and covered with cut paper. img_5076
