Pixar

Over the break I visited the “Science Behind Pixar” exhibit at the California Science Center. It was amazing to see how Pixar films are created, from the concept art to modeling to lighting. The image is a piece of concept art for Up, which I particularly enjoyed because of the color scheme as well as the way our eyes follow where the characters are looking. The exhibit also explained how techniques like camera position and lighting are used to change the moods of different scenes.
