I recently had the opportunity to visit Disney HQ in Burbank, CA where I learned that not only had Pixar been acquired by Disney, but also that they had also won an Oscar in this past awards cycle. The idea behind the award-winning Piper stirred from the writer and director, Alan Barillaro, quite literally from walking on the beach and observing. It’s quite a beautifully designed piece that I think everyone should see–even if only for the visuals.
