Watercolors of Korea

I found a series of small, detailed watercolor illustrations by Me Kyeoung Lee and instantly fell in love. Given the fluidity of watercolor, it is amazing that she was able to make such delicate pictures of what she saw. The portrayal of small convenience stores was also very poignant because they are becoming less and less common in the wake of globalization. All in all, her pictures create a sense of nostalgia for me.
