Yes, I don’t know if this is a real category. If it isn’t it should be. Even if I’m in the mist of changing carriers , I can’t help myself being drawn to fashion in some sort of form. It might be out of habit, after over 10 years in that field, or I truly have to admit to my self that I like it.
For over that decade I used clothing as an armor, to project how I wanted to be portrayed, but I was truly hiding and protecting my self from the world. In my opinion “Crystallization”, 2010, by Hana Coufalová , an armor made out of satin in origami paper style rappresnts this very well. I portrayed my self as a tuff impenetrable person, but in reality it would have been very easy to destroy that wall I had around me. I know I’m not the only one who uses this technic, because the world we live in sill requires us to be tuff and self-sufficient. Many time it’s not a conscious choice, and plenty of other humans do not even need to use this technic, but I’m pretty sure I’m not alone on this one.
