Sand Art Stories

I went to TedxPenn this past Saturday, and I witnessed how Joe Castillo told stories: through creating images with sand. He got quite far into America’s Got Talent, drawing with sand in front of audiences, each performance like a storybook in away. I was impressed by how he was able to switch scenes and move the story along without completely erasing the previous image. I also realized that telling stories in this unique way really captures audiences, even though the art isn’t very polished or complex. Again, I’m happy that art is so impactful 🙂

Here’s an example from his YouTube channel.
