Cut Paper

This photo features Japanese artist Sachiko Abe and her public art performance known as Cut Paper. In this piece, she cut paper sheets into very thin, wispy strips and arranged them to look like a waterfall. I felt that this artwork was relevant to our discussion of public art – it is also absolutely beautiful.
