The paper folding project has had me thinking about the time in fourth grade when we read that book about a girl with leukemia who folded a thousand swans in order to make a wish. When we did the initial paper folding, before we got into the thick of Processing, I also tried making a paper swan like I used to do in middle school. Although my skills aren’t as good as they use to be, I did come across these really cool metallic swans made by an artist named Mike Shields. So like the old adage goes, if you can’t fold them, weld them!
